It's the end of my run with the UGI team for gen surg tomorrow. i wanted to just buy a cake from the supermarket but man keat told me they're all dry and yucky. so leh, i decided to make a cake! wahahahah. as above.
first cake i ever made lah. succeed or fail like dead fish. haha. see how tomorrow when the rest of the team makan. haha. looks pretty okay lah. presentation is halfway there =P although it would be nice to have chocolate shavings on top to hide the bumpiness of not having a proper mixer. use hand mix.
and of course i didn't make it from scratch. cake mix from box =D
and timothy helped a bit with being the mixer. man keat kinda peeked in for a bit. and good thing the grafton meagre kitchen had a pie plate. but i had to wrap it with plastic first though. hahaha.
putting down the base requires patience man. slowly go and squeeze the base to the plate, trying to get it all to be the same level. after a while i lazy. and the base was a little too wet too... hope the refrigerator sucks out some moisture. can see where i lazy and simply put the lemon cheese icing thingy.
